Fuel powering an internal combustion engine. The engine converts chemical energy from the fuel into mechanical energy. In the Mapotempo web application, fuel consumption can be calculated if you include your vehicle’s fuel consumption in liters per 100 km.
Optimization is a branch of mathematics and IT whose disciplines involve looking to analytically or digitally model, analyze, and solve problems, finding the solution(s) that meet a quantitative objective but also abide by possible constraints. In Mapotempo, an algorithm solves a range of problems associated with constraints such as distance, traffic, time windows, quantities to deliver, number of stops and stop times.
